About the Role
Job Description:
People & Team Leadership • Promote a positive, collaborative, and psychologically safe atmosphere within the squad.
• Regularly check team wellbeing, motivation, and engagement, addressing issues proactively.
• Support team members’ personal development through coaching, feedback, and structured 1:1s.
• Nurture team autonomy, accountability, and clarity of responsibilities. Delivery & Agile facilitation
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, grooming/refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
• Ensure sprint commitments, backlog items, and team tasks are clearly defined, estimated, and understood. • Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, impediments, dependencies).
• Identify risks, blockers, and delivery inefficiencies early, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog readiness and prioritization when needed. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
• Provide clear and regular updates on sprint progress, team KPIs, and squad health.
• Ensure transparency of delivery status and escalate issues appropriately.
• Facilitate alignment between the squad, Product Owner, architects, and business stakeholders. Continuous Improvement
• Drive continuous improvement in team processes, Agile maturity, and ways of working.
• Use team feedback and delivery metrics to recommend and implement improvements.
• Encourage experimentation, learning, and adoption of Agile best practices. Technical & Delivery awareness • Maintain a working understanding of the squad’s technical context to better support delivery.
• Ensure technical debt, quality concerns, and non-functional requirements are visible and managed.
• Work comfortably with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD environments.
