About the Role
Responsibilities
● Involve in Design, implementation and plan for automation testing and documentation.
● Responsible for products end to end testing methodology and following best practices.
● Hands-on test automation suite development for the product features and services.
● Responsible for assessing bugs priority & severity, effectively sharing with stakeholders.
● Interact with Product Management and Business Teams to understand their requirements, set
priorities and deliver quality products.
● Come up with test plans, test cases and automation suites to various products and share test results.
● Align closely with development team, assist and improve product quality time to time.
● You will work with engineering & user experience teams for design and technical feasibility
discussions.
● Passion to learn new technologies and also ability to quickly adapt to change.
Required Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing frameworks of highly-scalable applications
and platform development.
● 3+ years of experience with mobile application testing especially Android and iOS.
● Strong knowledge and a deep understanding of testing RESTful APIs including Authentication &
Authorisation, API responses and API response codes.
● Hands-on experience in backend testing APIs using postman, postman collections etc.
● Should have worked on API automation tool like REST assured, Assertible or similar tools
● 3+ years of experience on debugging tools, adb commands, Networking monitoring tools like
Charles proxy and crash monitoring tools Crashlytics.
● Hands-on experience implementing test automation using languages like Java, JavaScript, Python
on tools like Jest, Appium, Selenium & TestNG.
● Should be able to analyze logs and find the root cause of the issues.
● Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) Methodologies.
● Experience with CICD pipelines.
● Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills including negotiation, facilitation and consensus
building skills, ability to influence, prioritize and persuade without direct control
● Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
● Familiarity with code versioning and project management tools - Git (Gitlab), Jira and Confluence.
● Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.
● Knowledge on cloud based solutions and platforms, preferred AWS.
