QA Engineer

Job Description

The QA Engineer is a team member of installed base digital capability. When working on the Schneider, its role is to:

Design and execute both manual and automated test strategies for various software products and data integration flows.

Identify and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies for rectification.

Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented in accordance with the company's standards.

Analyze the results of tests and provide feedback to the development teams.

Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and tools.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience working in QA, especially testing API and UI functionalities, and experience in Automation Testing in Python is required.

2+ years of experience in any API testing.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (technical background required)

Profound knowledge of AWS, Python, API Testing and GitFlow.

Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, as well as automated testing tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks.

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey intricate systems and methods to a non-technical audience.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience managing AWS pipelines automation server is a plus.

Skills

Due to the nature of this position sitting on a global team, fluent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required.

Ability to effectively manage priorities.

Initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively.

Ability to understand complex software development environments.
