As a DevOps Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for managing and automating infrastructure, enabling seamless application deployment, and ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices and optimize systems across the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
Configuration Management
Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible.
Containerization
Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS and Kubernetes.
CI/CD
Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for smooth integration and continuous delivery.
Monitoring
Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Dynatrace and CloudWatch to ensure system performance and health.
Database Management
Administer and optimize databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Mongo Atlas, and Virtuoso.
Automation
Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate infrastructure inventory and ensure proper documentation of all components.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Linux administration.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform.
Expertise in containerization technologies (ECS, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
Experience working with databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Mongo Atlas, Virtuoso.
Strong understanding of infrastructure management, automation, and inventory tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
