Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize solutions within the BMC Helix ITSM suite (including Smart IT, Digital Workplace, and CMDB).
Build and maintain REST API and web service integrations between Helix and third-party platforms.
Implement automation workflows using BMC Innovation Suite, Business Workflow, or custom scripts.
Create and manage data transformation logic, integrations using Pentaho, Integration Service, or native BMC connectors.
Optimize incident, change, problem, knowledge, and service request management processes.
Perform unit testing, documentation, and deployment of developed functionalities.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support for Helix ITSM-related incidents and requests.
Collaborate with ITSM Process Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational security and governance standards.
8+ years of experience in BMC Remedy / Helix ITSM development and configuration.
Strong experience with BMC Helix Innovation Studio, Digital Workplace, and Smart IT.
Hands-on knowledge of BMC CMDB and Reconciliation Rules.
Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, JavaScript, and shell scripting.
Experience with integration tools such as Python, Jitterbit, Business Workflow, Innovation Studio or BMC Integration Services.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks.
