About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance data classification processes and manage public labels for selected users.
2. Educate users on data classification policies and how to effectively apply them.
3. Support the implementation of data encryption policies and manage encryption settings for documents.
4. Oversee the governance of public workspaces, including approval processes and risk assessments.
5. Conduct periodic reviews of group memberships and manage access reviews for users.
6. Develop and execute plans to clean up excessive permissions and manage legacy permissions.
7. Utilize data tools to generate detailed reports for risk assessment and remediation.
8. Develop and maintain KPIs and data dashboards to monitor data governance performance.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum 4 years of experience of managing Office 365 Environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various departments.
· Demonstrated experience in data governance, data security, and Office 365 tools.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Experience in Office 365 Tools, Share Point Online Management, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft DLP tools
· Knowledge of data classification policies and practices.
· Familiarity with data access governance tools and techniques.
· Preferred - Experience with Microsoft Graph Data Connect (MGDC) and SharePoint Advance Management (SAM)
