About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Perform API testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of web services.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java programming.
• Strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
