About the Role
Candidate Profile:
• BE/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and communication / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
• Should have at least 2 plus year experience in the field of industrial automation.
Technical Proficiencies Required:
• Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Analog modules, different communication protocols.
• Experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming – SFC, Ladder, Structure text.
• Experience in handling Industrial elements: Laser marking, Robotics, Vision inspection, Scanning, Product
testing, Torquing, Sensors, Assembly Poka-yoke, Servo drives, welding controller, Load cell LVDT, Power
source, printers.
• Experience in Communication Protocols Serial, Modbus, Profibus, TCPIP, FTP, Ethernet IP.
• Troubleshooting Experience in Applications, Electrical circuit, Mechanical, Pneumatic.
• Experience in handling Test equipment and test machines.
• Knowledge in validation of Machine Risk Assessment, Safety circuit and poke yoke.
• Knowledge in Cycle time study and line balancing.
• Knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulic circuit understanding.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Interact with design team and understand the Automation project scope and requirement.
• PLC, HMI, Vision, Robot Offline & Online Programming.
• When Automation system assembly is ready, install the software and run the system with the software
developed and testing.
• Travel to customer location (Internal Schneider) for installation of the automation system and interfacing
with machines from different suppliers.
• Complete the required documentation and handover the machines to the respective departments.
• Monitor the performance of the running machines during the observation period and lead the corrective
actions.
• Offer technical support to resolve problems in running machines.
• Attend to service calls on need basis
