About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to data platforms.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with IT, data engineering, and business units to facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation in tools like Jira, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Testing and Validation: Support testing efforts to validate that data solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Training and Support: Assist in training users on data platform tools and processes, providing ongoing support as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data platforms or analytics.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with data management concepts is a plus
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
