About the Role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join the Global Supply Chain International Analytics team at Schneider Electric. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to build insightful dashboards, automate reporting, and ensure data-driven decision-making across regions.
• Perform data analysis, design Analytics Dashboards architecture, and deliver the same in alignment with Global Platform standards and guidelines.
• Develop and enhance interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
• Work with SQL databases to extract, clean, and model data.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries to support reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance of dashboards.
• Integrate Tableau reports with various data sources (SQL, Redshift, Excel, etc.).
• Participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle – from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support for existing reports.
• Understand data governance, quality and security and integrate analytics with these corporate platforms.
• Interact with UX/UI global functions and design best in class visualization for customers harnessing all product capabilities.
• Demonstrate strength in data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Should have worked on Data mining and reporting systems. Should be able to develop solutions using Tableau to meet enterprise level requirements.
• Good knowledge of building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
• Hands on experience in ETL, Tableau, SQL, Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects using AWS technologies – Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 and other big data technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Must have a working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, calculated fields, parameters, functions, blending, LODs, etc. in Tableau
QUALIFICATIONS: - EDUCATION : B.E / B TECH/MASTERS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONICS, RELEVANT TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION
Technology Skills and Project Experience:
• 7 years of experience as a Tableau Developer in enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience in designing effective data visualizations and interactive dashboards.
• Good knowledge of LOD expressions, table calculations, parameters, and filters
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
• Domain knowledge in Supply Chain, Finance, or Sales Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
• Tableau Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Business / Soft Skills:
• Must have solid presentation, communication (on complex technical solutions) and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
