About the Role
- Write and maintain Infrastrucrue as Code templates for Api Gateway, S3, Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Elasticache, SQS ..Etc using Serverless and Terraform
- Develop CICD pipeline for code change management between environments, using Github Actions
- Artifact management using JFrog
- Ensure the infrastructure deployed is secure, durable, reliable, highly available and scalable
- Collaborate with the software / data engineers to get the requirements, document the resources and and strategies in confluence and resolve incidents reported in JIRA
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AWS cloud technologies and trends to recommend process improvements and technology upgrades.
- Participate in architecture review board meetings and make strategic recommendations for choice of services.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience working with AWS as a Cloud/DEVOPS Engineer or a similar role
- Master’s degree in computer science with a focus on Cloud/Data or equivalent (Or Bachelor with more years of XP)
- Mandatory experience with the Serverless Framework and CICD with Github Actions
- Proficiency in deploying and maintainingAWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Elasticache ...etc
- Knowledge about the general purpose services of AWS such as IAM roles, Security Groups,
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB or DynamoDB)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform is a plus.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- A desire for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.

- Due to the nature of this position sitting on a global team, fluent English communication skills (written & spoken) is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and convince at various levels of the organization, and in a multicultural environment.
